Our fix was basically to modify our software so that it no longer needs the keys that were being removed. Even though we are fixing the issue, the cause is really the other application. The problem is that we will only be patching the latest version, which right now, isn't version 9.Īlso, we really cant control what other applications remove from the registry.
We are aware of the issue and are working toward having a fix built into EMC. I tried the first two suggestions and now need the "easy fix" or some other kind of help. Thank goodness someone else has had this problem. I do not understand how or why it come up as I paid pretty good money buying the complete version on EMC 9. If an uninstall and reinstall will do the trick, that's a satisfactory resolution to me, although it's going to cost me some 'spare time' which I don't have a lot of.
